All donations are gratefully received and will be forwarded in memory of Sarah to Penrose Roots to Recovery. Your donation will help further the work of this charity. Sarah was a massive supporter of Roots to Recovery and all
that we stand for, a small community garden with people at its heart, just as Sarah was. Sarah spent time with us as a volunteer and had impacted on many lives in her time with us, she had a sparkle that you could not help to be drawn to. She was also keen on getting donations of gardening items for us and
would often be calling with a random selection on goods that Sarah and her neighbours had sorted out for us. Sarah will be greatly missed by all at Roots
to recovery we are hoping to build an outside class room to honour Sarah’s
memory this will allow us to have the garden open whatever the weather and also
provide a place for reflection and tranquillity for our members

Learn more about us
Vision: To support vulnerable adults in the local community that promotes inclusion, recovery, and progression.
Mission: We help vulnerable adults who are socially isolated or on the fringe of isolation by building their skills and resilience and breaking down community engagement barriers.
Aims: R2R aims to provide easily accessible platforms to build friendships, social networks, engagement, and involvement for people who feel socially isolated and find it challenging to engage with their local community. R2R helps people reach their potential by supporting them when they are at their most vulnerable point and making them feel valued and wanted no matter where they have been and where they are now. As one member said, ‘Roots to Recovery provides a safe first step back to normality and a step further away from crisis.’
