Porthtowan Surf Life Saving Club

Porthtowan Surf Life-Saving Club is based on the north coast of Cornwall, UK, close to Redruth, Mt Hawke and Truro. We were formed in April 1955 to provide volunteer beach patrols to stop people drowning in the surf. Our club exists to save life from the sea at Porthtowan, and our primary aim is to train our members to become surf lifeguards using our extensive experience of our beach.
