PHAB
Learn more about us
Phab’s aim is to “promote and encourage people of all abilities to come together on equal terms, to achieve complete inclusion within the wider community and to make more of life together”. Founded in 1957, Phab creates opportunities for disabled people to enjoy the same activities and challenges as and alongside non-disabled people. This includes supporting a network of 170 clubs throughout England and Wales, with a total membership of around 8,000, and organising residential courses for disabled and non-disabled children and young people to enjoy a range of challenging and fun activities together at fully accessible outdoor activity centres – breaking down barriers, reducing social isolation and building independence, confidence, personal and practical skills, and, importantly, friendship

Urban Saints
Learn more about us
Since 1906 Urban Saints (formerly known as Crusaders) has been reaching out to children and young people with the good news of Jesus Christ. The charity is passionate about connecting with all children and young people, helping them to realise their full God-given potential as they journey from childhood to adulthood and to help them live lives of faith, hope and love.
Young people connect with the movement in a variety of ways, including weekly youth groups, special events, holidays, community projects and training programmes. These experiences are led by thousands of volunteers who are comprehensively trained and supported by Urban Saints, in order to help them work effectively and achieve the highest possible standards of youth work practice. Whilst much of the charity’s work is in the UK and Ireland, increasingly Urban Saints is helping churches within countries in the developing world to set up and run outreach work among un-churched children and young people.

The sad loss of my only cousin will never be forgotten as will your devoted service to the community in the Sutton area. It is some comfort to know you were surrounded by a loving family and to whom you gave every love and devotion.
