The abiding memory I have of Mitch is one of kindness, wisdom and a talent for merriment. Karen and I treasure the memory of the time when he and Wendy invited us to the RAF Club for lunch. It was a privilege to have known him, and we both miss him. Our thoughts are with Wendy and his family. Fly well, Mitch, afterburners on!
