Lots of great memories with Dave. The time he drove myself and Lara, his red setter, down to the New Forest for one of our camping weekends in his prized Lancia.Unfortunately about an hour into the journey we realised from the smell coming from the back of car that it had been well and truly christened. The many great times we had at Lords and also our biannual trips to Murrayfield during one of which Graham and he had to be rescued a by the wife of their host who had to bundle her 3 young children into her car at 2am to venture out into a freezing Edinburgh night. There was also our hastily arranged trip to watch England beat France in Paris in the 1991 rugby World Cup. Graham was driving my car on the way home in torrential rain when Dave who had been fast asleep briefly woke up and announced that we were on the wrong road.Surely enough a few minutes later we saw the that we were on our way to Brussels! And of course when her and I won the Boxing Day squash doubles.RIP Dave.
