Anna was such a special person - her smile lit up the room when she entered it. She had a way of focusing on you - really listening to what you were saying. And so much shared laughter - playgroup and float decorating, with our kids covered in straw; and later, watching our kids bloom and become the amazing, capable, independent young adults they became in Phoenix Explorers. Anna was a loved and valued member of our St John's counselling team and we will always miss her. I saw Anna regularly when my son Tom and her boys were young and we'd go out together in the holidays. She was always fun to be with, hard working, very wise, kind and full of integrity. I had the pleasure to call her a friend. I wasn't surprised when she changed from teaching to being a counsellor as she was always a 'people person' with such compassion.She and David raised a lovely family together and they will miss her terribly. She was an amazing wife and mother. She will always be remembered, not forgotten and I wasn't surprised when I heard she had given herself to others in death, allowing more people to live a better quality of life. We'll never forget Anna and it was a privilege to have known her. Use the strength she gave you in life to help you through this impossibly difficult time. May she rest in peace. Mel and Tom
