Mark Harris

Rob was a brummie lad who moved to Cornwall with his parents in his teens. It was a region he loved, and contributed significantly to, during his lifetime. Rob worked hard to provide the best for his family, working all hours to build a successful business with his wife, Bev, that now employs hundreds in the South West. Still, Rob found thousands of hours to volunteer with the local coastguard, rising to the rank of Commander. For this 50 years service he was rightly awarded an MBE. He touched a great many people during his lifetime and he will be missed by many, especially his partner Julie and his daughters Becci, Sophie and Emily. Please keep them in your thoughts. For me, foremost he was my fun loving Uncle Rob, who influenced me greatly and of whom I shall always be very proud. In memory of Rob Harris MBE, Honorary Cornishman.
