I am heartbroken Dad to see you go. I know that they say time heals everything and I am sure that is true. But as you know, I am very impatient and I think it's going to be a very long time before I stop hurting like I do. I am going to miss that cheeky twinkle in your eye when you were trying to tease us Dad. Taken in my view by the most evil of diseases, but at least you are no longer suffering for which I am eternally grateful. Rest in Peace my lovely Dad! Xx

I was just texting with Carol when she reminded me of the time we forgot to wave goodbye after being dropped off to get our bus on holiday. We felt terrible but there was Peter...catching us up on the motorway with a cheery wave...and easing our guilt! "Maje sure you sit on the right side of the bus" he'd say " Or you'll have the sun in your eyes all the way through France" Always a thoughtful man! Rest in peace and love to all who will miss him.
