Helen, Tom, Matthew and Harriet

Such a true gentleman and so privileged to have you in all 47 years of my life. I was there when you would come home on your bike from work having cycled from Market Harborough in all weathers. Never, ever have I seen you get cross, it must have taken something for that to happen. It was Auntie M's job to keep everyone in line. I would dress up in your overalls and hide in the water tub at the bottom of your allotment with Martin and Louise. If we got dirty playing out, we hoped you'd be at home, then we wouldn't get told off, we would eat your rhubarb from the allotment with a large pot of sugar to dip it in. You let me wear your shirt in Yugoslavia to protect my prickly heat, we then went canoeing on the sea, I laughed so much, I then fell in with your shirt on, but it didn't matter. There is so much more for me to say, you were strong, soft, gentle, funny, kind and will always be in my heart, love always, Helen xx
