Launchpad is Reading’s leading homelessness prevention charity, providing vital information and support for individuals, couples and families who don’t have a stable place to live or are at risk of losing their home.
Launchpad’s holistic service works in three ways – we prevent homelessness, provide homes & rebuild lives.
1) Our free, confidential drop-in service is for anyone who needs housing or homelessness-related info & support.
2) We provide and maintain temporary accommodation for up to 104 people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless with individual, targeted support to get our clients’ lives back on track.
3) And our Work and life skills Centre, Launchpad 135 helping people rebuild their lives with practical skills such as cooking, DIY, IT and interview skills - as well as soft skills such as building confidence, resilience, teamwork and communication..
