He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
'In the last 18 months of Dad's life he was visiting St. John's Hospice, Moggerhanger to receive blood transfusions. The nursing staff, especially Ann, were all so friendly and welcoming that the ordeal of receiving first monthly and then fortnightly units of blood was less of a dread and more of an outing. Our thanks as a family for this amazing team of people is immeasurable. May their good works continue.'
